The initial review process took quite long but after we submitted the revised version everything went pretty fast. The paper was accepted after the first minor revision round. I would recommend contacting the Editor via private / business Email - I tried to contact him via the online submission system because of the long review process but I never received an answer. But I got an answer within 24h after sending him an Email to his 'normal' address.
