What bothered me the most about this experience was that only one review was obtained before rejection. The one review was largely composed of statements about how certain parts were "confusing" without any clear critique of the ideas or methodology. I'm left wondering why my paper was rejected. I will not be submitting to this journal again until the editor changes.
