Although the first round reviews were very helpfull and the paper finally got accepted, the main problem with this journal is the duration of the review process (15 months in our case). In the first review round, we contacted the editors after a few months but they said, I quote "we were let down by one of the reviewers and one of the other reviewers had a conflict of interest with the paper. It has meant enlisting more reviewers which led to some delay". Moreover, during the second round of reviews, the editors ignored our submission and we had to remind them again a few weeks later. Most journals today are working with an online submission (possible reviewers can 'accept' to review a submission in a requested time frame, submissions cannot get 'lost' in an overload of emails, etc.) while Journalism still works by email, many things go wrong and the process takes for ever.
